The table at the bottom of this page details the latest number of positive coronavirus cases in each council in England and is updated daily to reflect the latest available data.


Covid Messenger is run on a voluntary basis.

It takes 4 days for the majority of coronavirus test results to be published at council level from the date the swab is taken. Hence, the table below is for test samples taken four days ago (February 24).


Note that the last 7 days (denoted last 7d in the table below) refers to the 7-day period up to and including February 24 (ie 18 Feb - 24 Feb) and the prior 7 days (denoted prior 7d below) refers to the 7-day period immediately preceding this (ie 11 Feb - 17 Feb).
