Coronavirus Live Update for Councils in England

Daily Update: Coronavirus Cases in Each Council in England

Last updated on May 09, 2021 at 19:31

Service Update: The Covid Messenger daily update service will cease until further notice on May 10th.

The table at the bottom of this page details the latest number of positive coronavirus cases in each council in England and is updated daily to reflect the latest available data.

Covid Messenger is run on a voluntary basis.
Please support its continuation by donating.

It takes 4 days for the majority of coronavirus test results to be published at council level from the date the swab is taken. Hence, the table below is for test samples taken four days ago (May 5).

Note that the last 7 days (denoted last 7d in the table below) refers to the 7-day period up to and including May 5 (ie 29 Apr - 05 May) and the prior 7 days (denoted prior 7d below) refers to the 7-day period immediately preceding this (ie 22 Apr - 28 Apr).
